Adds 8-K Earnings Release Conversions to XBRL Format; Offers Data Feeds from Chinese Stock Exchanges
SOUTH NORWALK, Conn. – June 12, 2006 – EDGAR® Online®, Inc. (Nasdaq: EDGR) announced today that it has significantly expanded the number of public companies to more than 10,000 for which it currently provides interactive financial data. Offered through EDGAR Online’s I-Metrix platform, the interactive data is tagged according to the XBRL global standard that enhances the transparency and usability of information used for decision making by investors as well as analysts and regulators.

The Company also announced that I-Metrix has expanded its client offerings to include 8-K earnings releases from US public companies. EDGAR Online also unveiled another major enhancement to its exclusive solutions – the addition of interactive, XBRL-enabled data feeds from companies listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Chinese stock exchanges as a way to begin offering its clients global benchmarking tools.
In related news, EDGAR Online announced that the Company continues to move forward with its R. R. Donnelley partnership to convert public company financial statements to XBRL for participants in the SEC’s Voluntary Filing Program.
