We seek an energetic and talented individual to assist in the production management of XBRL submission content creation and delivery. The successful candidate will take a leadership role in the growth of EDGAR Online through the shared management of all production activities for our XBRL reporting solution(s). The ideal candidate is a highly-organized, forward-looking, hands-on manager and excellent communicator who possess both financial and production management expertise.
This position will report to the Senior Production Manager, Xcelerate. There is also the likelihood of second-shift and third-shift management responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities• Plan, schedule, and manage the content creation and delivery of production resources
• Optimize workflow to meet SLA requirements
• Forecast capacity requirements and manage staff needs accordingly
• Develop and manage production quality plan and metrics
• Provide production-related product requirements to drive quality and efficiency
• Manage client communications during production process
• Establish client feedback procedures
• Manage beta-test programs with clients for new software releases
• Assist the sales and pre-sales teams in responding to customer questions
Qualifications• Minimum 5 years of experience overseeing and managing production service levels
• Some project management experience desired
• Minimum 3 years of experience with resource management
• Exposure to SAS70 or other formal quality control programs
• Experience with XBRL solutions and understanding of US-GAAP financial concepts desirable
• Bachelor Degree in either Finance or Accounting preferred
• Experience balancing production levels with customer need
• Strong communication skills and ability to work and collaborate with cross functional groups to incorporate feedback into the product development process
• Good written, verbal and presentation skills; the ability to communicate both internally and to demonstrate leadership externally to stakeholders
• Good analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills
